Naomi E. Molthan, 64, of Bokoshe, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, in Poteau. She was born Dec. 5, 1936 in Oklahoma City to Calvin Leon McCullough and Rilla Dean Smith McCullough. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Poteau, and a homemaker. She graduated Keota High School in 1955 and attended four years of college to become a Home Economic Teacher.

Survivors include her husband Harrell Dean Molthan of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Kevin Looper of Shady Point, and Karisa and Terry Huggins of Bokoshe; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael and Amy Molthan of Shady Point and Clinton Dean Molthan of the home; 10 grandchildren; her father of Silver City, N.M.; her mother of Las Cruces, N.M.; one sister, Hazel Sharif of Las Cruces, N.M.; two brothers, Cal Dean McCullough of Red Oak and Jim McCullough of Albuquerque, N.M.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Poteau with the President LaVon Williams officiating. Burial followed at Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
