Carolyn Kaye Minner, 50, of Fort Coffee, passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2002. She was born Dec. 4, 1951 at Fort Coffee to Eddie Boyd and Onnie (Triplett) Minner. She taught school for 23 years in Spiro Upper Elementary School and was an active member of Macedonia Church of God in Fort Coffee. She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include two daughters, Destiny Phillips and Shannon Skyes of Fort Coffee; three sisters, Rita Louise Minner and Cynthia Minner, both of Topeka Kan. and Marvalene Minner of Fort Coffee; five brothers, Vanolies Minner and William V. Minner, both of Topeka, Kan., Mitchell Minner and David Minner, both of Fort Coffee and Boyd Minner Jr. of Corsicana, Texas; and her mother.
Family visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 at Mallory Chapel.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Spiro High School gym with the Rev. Terish Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in
Fort Coffee Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
