Timalee Sue McCartney, 20, of Poteau, passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, in Spiro. She was born Sept. 18, 1981 in Poteau. She was a member of the Sugarloaf Christian Fellowship and attended Carl Albert State College in Poteau. She was a wonderful, loving mother, daughter and friend.
Survivors include one daughter, Tessa Dawn Adams of the home; her mother and stepfather, Karen and Jeff Ford of Wister; her father and stepmother, Chester and Gloria McCartney of Poteau; three stepsisters, Urena Sanders of Wister, Mandalyn Clark of Poteau and Ashley Ford of Vinita; three brothers, Christopher Clark, Levi McCartney and Kevin McCartney, all of Poteau; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Lillian Smith of Lone Grove; and paternal grandparents, Aurthur McCartney of Monroe and Mattie McCartney of Poteau.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Les Scroggins officiating. Burial will follow in
Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
