Reba E. Maxwell, 87, of Spiro, passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, in West Siloam Springs, Okla. She was born July 1, 1915 at Dubbin, Ark. to William Herbert and Ethel Louise (Biggs) Herring.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Loyd Maxwell; one sister; and one brother.
Survivors include one daughter, Erma Jean Moore of Fort Smith; one son, Harold Dean Maxwell of Spiro; one sister, Khiva Fholer of Tulsa; three brothers, Garvin Herring of Tonkawa, Lawson Herring of Tulsa and Morris Herring of Sallisaw; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7 at the Tucker Church of Christ with Mr. Taylor Joyce officiating. Burial will follow in
Short Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers will be Davis Kelly, James Cox, Larry Maxwell, Tom Thompson, J.D. Gist and Jim Gist.
