Tommie Key

SHADY POINT — Tommie Key, 80, of Shady Point died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, in Poteau. He was born May 27, 1922, in Hackett. He was an Army veteran of World War II and worked in a paint and body shop. He was the widower of Beryl Kay Key.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery.

He is survived by three daughters, Susan Nicholson of Purcell, Okla., Cheryl Mize of Shady Point and Melinda Rose of Hagerstown, Md.; a son, Tommie Key of Chickasha, Okla.; three sisters, Delsey Hatley and Bonnie Prescott, both of Arkoma, and Naomi Powell of Parsons, Kan.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
