PANAMA MAN KILLED ON RAILROAD TRACK
Dodson Jones Walks in Front of Kansas City Southern Engine,
Investigation Started.
Panama, Okla., January 11, 1937 Dodson Jones, 50 year old resident of Panama, OK. was killed instantly Monday morning about 10:00 o'clock when he stepped in the path of a southbound Kansas City Southern train.
Jones acquaintances said he suffered a sunstroke last summer and later
was sent to the hospital for nervous diseases, at Vinita.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete Monday afternoon. He is survived by his wife Susie Jones of the home and two sons, John Jones of Fort Smith and Ewel Jones of Panama.
John Jones, whose father was killed in Panama, Oklahoma Monday morning
is employed with the C.C. Davis Wholesale company in Fort Smith. He was in Waldron on business at the time of the death of his father, but employee of the Davis firm said Jones probably will go to Panama from Fort Smith Monday night.
