Ronald Wayne Holt, 62, of Marlow, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2002, in Lawton. He had a military career of 28 years from the Marines and Oklahoma National Guard. He retired from the Oklahoma National Guard in 1986 with a rank of Colonel. He worked for the city of Ardmore as public works director and served as city manager for Lone Grove and Marlow.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Clay Holt; his father, Harley Holt; his mother, Thelma Holt; and one brother, Robert Holt.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Rebecca "Shelton" Holt; one daughter and son-in-law, Ronna and Joe Bob Ritter of Cedar Hill, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Tracy Holt of Ardmore; three grandchildren, Jake and Clint Ritter and Regen Holt.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 24 at Heavener Memorial Park under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
