Herman "Bill" Graham, 68, of Spiro, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2002. He was born June 3, 1933 at Short Mountain to Kermit Coffman and Ellen Lenora (Wiliford) Graham.
He was a retired mill operator, an Army veteran, of the Assembly of God faith and loved riding bicycles and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Winford Graham; and one infant sister, Francis.
Survivors include his wife Retha Jane of the home; four daughters, Tammy Graham of Spiro, Vickie Hansen of Poteau, Kathy Dippel of Panama and Diane Hixson; four sons, Wayne Hassien of Lafayette, La, Loyal "Junie" Mantooth of Spiro, Phillip Mantooth of Spiro and Jerry; five sisters, June McDonald of Spiro; Thelma Jean Hope of Fort Smith, Barbara Chapple of Spiro, Murlene Stobie of Montana and Margaret Fleege of Tahlequah; one brother, Harlan Graham of Spiro; 23 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends Saturday from 2 to 4 pm.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 11 at Lakeview Baptist Church with the Rev. Buel Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow in Short Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers will be Don Atkinson, Dewayne Leonard, Bud Cosgrove, Dale Stout, Michael Chumley and Junie Mantooth.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Sebo, Randy Hansen, Jim Harlan West and Joshua Mantooth.
