James William (Bill) Doyle and Nona Caughern

Bill is son of Samuel Lafayette and Martha Francis Hughes-Doyle

Nona is daughter of John Wesley and Dorothy Freemeyer-Caughern.

James William Doyle – was the fourth child born to Samuel Lafayette and Martha Francis Hughes-Doyle. Bill was born November 1, 1903 in Blackfork, Arkansas, Indian Territory. Bill married Nona Marie Caughern daughter of Wesley and Dorothy Freeman-Caughern on November 28, 1925 in Hodgen, Oklahoma. 

Bill and Nona had seven children: Clyde William, Dortha Dean, Imogene, Arlene, Dorlis Faye, Donna Jean and Beverly Sue. Bill also worked for Kansas City Southern Railroad. Working for the railroad, Bill and Nona moved a lot to places such as Mena, Arkansas, Hume, Missouri and Heavener, Oklahoma to mention a few. 

Bill died April 11, 1977 in Heavener, Oklahoma. Bill was killed when a train hit him. Bill and Nona are both buried in Heavener Memorial Park, Heavener, Oklahoma.
