Faye DeLong, 84, of Spiro, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was born Aug. 5, 1918 at Panama to Sam and Eula (Kilgore) Davis. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 4884 and loved helping people and spending time with her grandchildren and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Eldon Gardner and George DeLong; one daughter, Patsy McClinton; one son, J.C. Brammer; and a stepbrother, Emmett Wilkins.
Survivors include one daughter, Deloris Schram of Keota; two granddaughters, Shelah Tuttle and Zephfena and Jim Nourozy, all of Stigler; seven great-grandchildren, Kim Lewis, Sammy Tuttle, Shawn Coy, Angela Nourozy, Andrea King, Amanda Jones and A.J. Nourozy; three great-great-grandchildren, Alyssa Ross, Cambree Coy, Zandria Nourozy.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23 at the Mallory Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Lee Mattox officiating. Burial followed in
Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers were Doy Wilkins, Larry Tuttle, Charlie Beack, Milo Cagle, Donnie Moss and Jerald Ortlieb.
Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Flippin and Josh Jones.
