A. Frances Cox, 84, of Poteau, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at Fort Smith, Ark. She was born Jan. 22, 1918 at Cameron. She was a nurse at the hospital in Poteau for approximately 40 years. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Poteau.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Kjelstrom of Poteau; one grandson, David Kjelstrom of Poteau; one brother and sister-in-law, Trammell and Edwina McClure of Tulsa; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Dale Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in
Oakland Cemetery at Poteau under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
