SALLISAW - John Machado Cardoza Jr., 64, of Sallisaw died Friday, June 2, 2000, in Sallisaw. He was a retired carpenter, a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a Catholic.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Short Mountain Cemetery near Cowlington, Okla., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; four daughters, Deanna Costallo of Paso Robles, Calif., Holly Cardoza of Santa Monica, Calif., Tuesday Cardoza of Sacramento, Calif., and Tommie Bowles of Sallisaw; three sons, Dean of Sacramento, Shannon of Killeen, Texas, and Mike McGovern of Prescott, Ariz.; one sister, Lorraine Mosteller of Cartersville, Ga.; two brothers, Butch Walker of Marietta, Ga., and Joe Walker of Knoxville, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 9 p.m. today ath the funeral home.
