Carrie A. Brady, 63, of Spiro, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at Fort Smith, Ark. She was born March 8, 1939 at Spiro to Ralph and Cumile (Autry) Franklin. She was a switchboard operator. She was a member of the Murry Spur Freewill Baptist Church, wrote poetry and loved to crochet.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Terrie Dinkins and husband Edward of Evans, Ga. and Sherrie DeRubbo and husband Kevin of Birmingham, Ala.; one sister, Connie Swift and husband Stanley of Spiro; four grandchildren, Thomas and Tyler Dinkins, and Angelika and Daniel DeRubbo.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at the Murry Spur Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. C.L. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in
Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
