Mary Benton
SPIRO — Mary Lee Benton, 85, of Spiro died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in Pocola. She was a member of the Macedonia Church of God in Christ of Pocola. She was the widow of Willie Benton.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church with burial at
Fort Coffee Cemetery in Fort Coffee, LeFlore County, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Osborne of Spiro and Marilyn Brown of Flint, Mich.; three sisters, Juanita and Inez Blocker, both of Oakland, Calif. and Doella Releford of Flint; one brother, Jessie Butler of Tulsa; three grandchildren, Shanita Osborne of Fort Smith, Charla Osborne of Pocola and Sherron Osborne of Spiro; and one great-grandchild.
The family will visit with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
