Malcolm O. Whitt, 87, of Red Oak, passed away Monday, June 9, 2003. He was a longtime resident of the area, worked as a plumbing contractor and cowboy. He was preceded in death by one son, Malcolm Lee Whitt. Survivors include his wife Wanda of the home; two daughters, Jacquelyn Evans and husband Chuck of Wister and Barbara Osterberg and husband Kenneth of Oxnard, Calif.; two sons, Michael Allen Whitt of Wister, and David Warren Whitt and wife Carolyn of Fort Smith, Ark.; and seven grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12 in Memorial Park Cemetery at Heavener, under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener. |
