Opal Tompkins, 91, of Spiro, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003. She was born April 21, 1912 in Walt Hill, Neb. to Otis and Jesse Fiscus. She was a homemaker, a retired secretary for the Butcher's Union of California, a Gold Star mother and of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Darrell Hirschbach; one sister, Perilda Utuick; and one brother, Ray Mefford.

Survivors include one daughter, Jan Oller of Spiro; one brother, Larry Fiscus of Chester, Calif.; two grandsons, Mike Oller and John Oller, both of Reno, Nev.; several nieces and nephews.

Cremation with burial at New Hope Cemetery are under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro

She leaves behind, her daughter, Jan Oller of Spiro; two grandsons, Mike and John Oller, both of Reno, Nev.; a brother Larry Fiscus of Chester, Calif.; and several nieces an nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Jesse Fiscus; a son, Darrell Hirschbach; a sister, Perilda Utuick and a brother, Roy Mefford.
