Patsy Thomas, 69, of Poteau, passed away Friday, June 13, 2003. She was born July 18, 1933 at Poteau. She graduated from Northeastern State University ASCP Board Registered Medical Technogolist. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Poteau.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Paul Austin and Marjorie L. Thomas of Poteau; four grandchildren, Geoffrey Austin Fitzgerald Thomas and Jasmine Skyy Thomas, both of Poteau, Shane and Arien Morton and David and Katherine Morton and their children; one aunt, Katherine Lois Cameron of Poteau; two cousins, Gary Don Vest of Cameron and Betty Joe Patterson of California; numerous loved ones and a host of beloved friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion in Poteau with the Rev. Phil McGeehee officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Thompson, Keith Thompson, David Woodruff, Bob Stryffeler, Jack Lynch and Gary Don Vest.

Alternate pallbearer will be Joe Stryffeler.
