Hazel Ruth Ridenour, 83, of Spiro, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born May 1, 1919 at Kibler, Ark. to Walter and Bertha (Harding) Sullivan. She was a retired nurses aid.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ruth Ann Long; one sister, Floye Nibblet; two brothers, Brown and Roy Sullivan.

Survivors include her husband Ivan L. Ridenour of the home; two daughters, Helen Faye Martin of Tampa, Fla. and Joan Ozeroglu of Kirkland, Wash.; one son, Clinton Lesley Ridenour and wife Kerry of Spiro; one brother, Macy Sullivan of Spiro; eight grandchildren; and 14 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at the Murry Spur Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. C.L. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
