Donnie Eugene Potter Sr., 54, of Poteau, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2003. He was born May 13, 1949 at Cameron. He was disabled. He liked to fish and loved listening to Elvis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Potter; a daughter, Rhonda Potter; a brother, Doyle Potter Sr.; and two sisters, Lois Walls and Earleen Halpain.

Survivors include his mother, Stillie Mae Potter of Poteau; one son, Donnie Potter Jr. and Tiffani of Wister; one daughter, Crystal Goff and Florencio of Howe; four brothers, W.R. (Bud) and Lyndia Potter, Fred Potter, Charley and Esther Potter, all of Poteau and Olen Potter of Kiowa; two grandsons; five granddaughters; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Pallbearers will be Jack Eslick, Donnie Underwood, Bobby Mize, Justin Mize, John Mize and Brooke Mize. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Eslick, Willie Potter and Doyle Potter Jr.
