Charles Earl McDonald, 68, of Howe, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Fort Smith, Ark. He was a long time resident of the area, of the Baptist faith and he was a retired contractor. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Norma McDonald; his parents, Wayne and Rosa McDonald; and three brothers, James, Billy Wayne and Rex. Survivors include his companion Ann Grossnicklaus; four daughters, Pegge Wright and husband David of Howe, Janice Penney and husband Ronnie of Springfield, Mo., Loretta Capell and husband Larry of Sallisaw and Teresa Bottoms and husband Mike of Heavener; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener. |
