Barbara Sue Kinner, 63, of Heavener, passed away Thursday, July 10,
2003, in Poteau. She was a longtime resident of Heavener, a 1958
graduate of Heavener High School, a Scout leader for Girl Scouts,
quilted with the Piecemakers Quilting Club and was a member of the First
Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include first cousins, Wayne Satterfield of Poteau, Powell
Pickle and Eunice Tolbert, both of Heavener, Iva Sexton of Troup, Texas
and Manual Richmond of Hontubby; and numerous other cousins and friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11 at the First Baptist
Church in Heavener. Burial will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the
direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
