Bill Jenson
POTEAU — Bill Jenson, 77, of Poteau died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, in
Poteau. He was born Sept. 23, 1925, in Wister. He worked at the Baptist
Children’s Home in Oklahoma City, retired from Holton’s Hardware in
Poteau and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Poteau.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. today at Southside Baptist Church in Poteau
with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans
& Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby; two daughters, Cheryl Quinley of
Poteau and Beth Lindsay of Fort Smith; two sisters, Virginia Thomas of
Oklahoma City and Jimmie Dunn of Chickasha, Okla.; a brother, Wayne
Jenson of Poteau; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Podie Meeks, Lance Smith, Carrell Hale, John Cooper,
Cloyis Clay and Aud Balentine.
