Michael Henry Henson, 52, of Poteau, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2003. He was born Dec. 14, 1950 at Poteau. He was retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad

Survivors include his wife Linda of the home; two daughters, Ashley Henson and Amanda Joyner of Poteau; two granddaughters, Haley and Sierra Joyner; two stepdaughters, Tammy Traylor of Krugerville, Texas and Denise Morris of Poteau; one sister, Cary Whitman of Poteau; one brother, Keith Henson of Poteau; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 3 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
