Edward Lewarren Freeman, 50, of Chillicothe, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2003, in Littleton, Colo. He was born Sept. 17, 1952 at Chillicothe, Texas. He was self-employed in a construction business.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmon B. and Lee Oradell (Ray) Freeman; one daughter; and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife Mary of the home; four children, Charlene and husband Dewayne Dewberry, Vanessa Freeman and Andru Freeman, all of Abilene, Texas, and Tony and wife Ashanta Freeman of Littleton, Colo.; six brothers, Belva Lee Freeman of Alma, Ark., Carl Freeman of Dyer, Ark., Booth Freeman of Davidson, Henry Freeman, Dewey Freeman and Tommy Freeman, all of Vernon, Texas; one sister, Earlene Moore Parker of Davidson; five grandchildren; other relatives and loved ones; and many friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at Ellis Chapel Church in Wister with the Rev. Linda Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery at Wister under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
