Ina Louise Dresser, 51, passed away Monday, May 26, 2003, at Rose. She was born Jan. 28, 1952 in Tulsa to James M. and Beverly Jean Winterringer-Dresser.

Ina grew up in Tulsa and graduated from McLain High School. Although she lived most of her life in northeastern Oklahoma, her heart was always in the Kiamichi Mountains. She had a big heart and loved her family and friends. Ina was a warm and caring person who loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, painting and caring for her animals.

Survivors include her stepmother, Emma Dresser Cox and Mike Cox of Talihina; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Marilyn Dresser of Durant; stepfather, Derrell and Dorothy Marrow; one half sister, Cindy Murray; two half brothers, Dean Morrow and Brent and DeAnn Morrow; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Leo and Sharlene Anderson; and a host of many, many friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 30 at the First United Methodist Church of Talihina with the Rev. James Ogden, H.L. Moody and Larry Dresser officiating. Burial will follow in Old Talihina Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
