Milly Gertrude (Brown) Carson was born April 14, 1900, in Porum, Oklahoma.

She died December 29, 1978. Poteau, LeFlore County,  Oklahoma. 

She married William Wesley Carson January 1921, in Arkansas. 

She is buried in Shady Point Cemetery. Wesley is buried in California.

Millie's daughter, Vera, married Jim McCarson.

Jim McCarson, 75, of Bear Hollow Road, died Sunday, February 26, 1995, in a Fort Smith hospital. A retired minister, he pioneered churches in Shady Point and Rock Island. He also was a farmer and a member of Rock Island Full Gospel Church.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at White Bluff Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife, Verva; a daughter, Barbara Reeves of Bear Hollow Road; a son, Carlos, of Pocola; a sister, Dora Jackson, of Seattle, Washington; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
