Jerry Vick Andrews Sr., 62, of Heavener, passed away Saturday, July 19,
2003. He was a retired paint contractor and cabinet maker. He was
devoted to his family and had a love for life and people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Andrews and Mae Snyder.
Survivors include his wife Lenda; one daughter, Vicki and husband Terry
Tarkenton of Spokane, Wash.; three sons, Jerry Jr. and wife Pam Andrews
of Arlington, Texas, Len and wife Lisa of Fort Worth, Texas and Todd of
Poteau; one sister, Bea "Sister" and husband Henry Vaughn of
Irving, Texas; one brother, Roy "Bubba" and wife Betty Andrews
of Cedar Hill, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Tera, Talon and Taci Tarkenton,
Jessica, Chris, Jerry III, Jeniffer, Melenda, Amanda and Kourtney
Andrews; one grandchild on the way; three nieces, Kay Cross, Debbi
Molina and Pam Morgan; and one nephew, Dale Andrews.
Family visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 24 from
6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 25 at Dowden Funeral Home
Chapel in Heavener. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at
Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
