The Logan County Genealogical Society, Inc., a non-profit educational society formed in 1981 and incorporated by the State of Oklahoma November 29, 1995, exists to:
  1. collect, preserve, publish and maintain genealogical material and historical data
  2. bring together interested persons for discussion and interchange of opinions and information in the field of genealogy
  3. study methods of research
  4. help develop and maintain ancestral charts and records
  5. assist its members in their genealogical research and compilation
  6. develop and maintain a reference library
Research Library is located in the Oklahoma Territorial Museum, 406 East Oklahoma Avenue, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Open by appointment with one of the officers listed above.

Logan County Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, October 16, 1:00 p.m., at the Oklahoma Territorial Museum, 406 E. Oklahoma.

To help celebrate, a round table discussion will be held about particular troublesome research, especially as it applies to Logan County research. Attendees are asked to bring questions about their own personal research at which time they will be directed to resources available in the genealogy library.
