I am looking for information on LYDIA PETERSON. Lydia Peterson was the mother of Isibindia Clarinda B. Peterson, who first married Charles E. Meeker on February 7, 1875 in Missouri. Meeker died September 26, 1875. Isibindia subsequently married Francis M. ALYEA on May 10, 1876. Information on Isibindia is from an affidavit signed by Lydia PETERSON on June 22, 1901 in Kingfisher County.
In the affidavit, Lydia PETERSON stated that she was 80 years old, so would have been born about 1821. PETERSON is the married name. Maiden name is unknown. It is possible that LYDIA PETERSON may be Indian. We would like more information on her and possible Indian background.
