Photo Album

Our thanks to Herman L. Weiland for submitting
this photograph album, which belonged to his mother,
and the following biography:

These photos, related to Kingfisher College life,
are from the album of Mary Lorena Leonhardt,
who attended the College 1916-18.

Lorena, born April 8, 1901, in the Park Community west of Kingfisher,
was the daughter of Henry Lewis and Olive (Rudy) Leonhardt.
Lorena attended the Park School and Park Community Church
prior to her attendance at Kingfisher College.
She studied primarily music and used these talents throughout her lifetime,
as church pianist or organist in her home churches.

She moved with her sister and family to Clayton, New Mexico in 1925.
There she met Fred Weiland and they were married on July 30, 1930.
They had one son, Herman, who has furnished these pictures
for your enjoyment and, hopefully, identification.
