PONCA CITY � Sanford G. Elkins, 93, Ponca City, died Tuesday at the Highland Nursing Center, Ponca City.

Services are set for 10:30 am Thursday at the Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the directions of Smith funeral Home.

He was born Aug 29, 1895, and lived in Sapulpa for 60 years. Mr. Elkins was a World War I U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Christian Church and was retired from the Conoco Oil Company.

Survivors include son J. W. of Ponca City; niece Juanita Acree of Sapulpa; and one grandson.

The family will headquarter at the Acree Home, 415 N. Ridgeway.
