Burgess, 52, of Kellyville passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at St.
John Medical Center, Tulsa, Okla. She was born on February 12, 1959 in
Kellyville, Okla. to Sie and Virginia (Earles) Jones. She was employed
by Simple Simons. She was a member of Blue Bell Free Will Baptist
Church. She loved doing crafts, reading and spending time with her
grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sie and Virginia Jones;
brother, Dennis Sie Jones; sister, Linda Fitzgerald; and grandson, James
Coy Tygart.
She is survived by her husband Clifford Burgess of the home; children,
Dami Tygart and husband James, Carrie Carroll, and Kodi Burgess.;
grandchildren, Clayton Carroll, Tyler Carroll, Emily Carroll, Sierra
Tygart, and Zoe Burgess; brother, Joe Jones and wife Cindy of Tulsa,
Okla.; sisters, Kate Coplen and husband Mike of Kellyville, Okla., Vicki
Walters and husband Larry, and Kelly Frazier and husband Terry of
Kellyville, Okla.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services have been set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at
Bluebell Free Will Baptist Church, 20889 W. Hwy 33, Sapulpa. Officiating
will be Pastor Jason Hutsell. Bearers will be Tony Burgess, Adam
Burgess, Dustin Jones, Joe Darin Jones, Bryan Gibbs, and Todd Gentry.
Honorary bearers will be Derrick Walters, David Gibbs, Jon Schaffer,
Derek Grogg, and Steve Carroll. Interment to follow at Green Hill
Memorial Gardens.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
