Douglas E. Richmond, 44, of Sapulpa, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004.

Survivors are his mother Genevieve, of Broken Arrow, and brother Mark Richmond, also of Broken Arrow.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Douglas Richmond went to be with our Lord on Sept. 25, 2004 at the age of 44.

Douglas was born in Sapulpa to Bob and Genevieve Richmond on June 21, 1960. Douglas resided in Sapulpa for the majority of his life and most recently resided in Broken Arrow.

Douglas is preceded in death by his father, Bob Richmond and brother Nickie Richmond.

Douglas is survived by his loving mother, Genevieve Richmond, of Broken Arrow; brother Mark Richmond, of Broken Arrow; sister-in-law Misty Richmond; nieces Candin Richmond and Chelsea Richmond, of Broken Arrow; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the exceptional care and love Douglas received from his caregivers at the Gatesway Foundation.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004 at the Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa.

Graveside services will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Joe Fowler.
