Jane Elizabeth Powell ~ 1936-2007
Funeral services for Jane Elizabeth Powell, 70, of Sapulpa ,
sister of Sue Cannon of Edmond, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday
at the First United Methodist Church in Sapulpa . Burial will be
at South Heights Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in
Sapulpa.
Powell was born May 7, 1936, in Edmond. She died Thursday, Feb.
15, 2007, in Tulsa.
Powell was a teacher at South Heights and Jefferson public
schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Violet (Hay)
King.
Survivors include her husband, Jed Powell of Sapulpa ; her son,
Bobby Powell of Sapulpa ; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church and
the Family Life Center.
