James Irval Greer, born May 30, 1913, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004.

A long time resident of Mounds, he was a local rancher in the Mounds area for 60 years. He was a retired member of the Mounds Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by twin brothers, Wayne Paul Greer and Glenn Warren Greer, both of Mounds, sister-in-law, Mary Greer and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Services will be at 1 pm Friday Sept. 24, 2004 at the Mounds First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Bristow City Cemetery.
