Elsie Carrie Foster, of Tulsa, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005 at Hillcrest Hospital at the age of 78.

Foster was born Aug. 2, 1927 in Glenpool and had lived in this area most all of her life. She was a homemaker, a Baptist and an avid OU fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Granville Evans and Nicey Coonhead Evans and her husband Clifford Foster in 1983; daughter Brenda Kay Thomas; and granddaughter Kristle Moore.

Survivors are her children Roger and Kathy Foster, Gary and Donna Foster, Randy and Tammy Thomas, Janelle and Don Moore, Kim and Eric Graham, Joe Don Foster; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother Jake Evans; and sister Billie Walker.

Graveside services for her have been set for 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2005 in the Mounds Cemetery with the Rev. Jake Evans officiating. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
