        Educator Drowned

Sapulpa. June 26,— Frankie Peters, 16 years old, daughter of Mrs. Hallie Peters, superintendent-elect of Creek county schools was drowned in the city lake Wednesday night. The girl was in swimming with a group of friends when she became caught in the undercurrent near the darn spillway.

Not being an expert swimmer. she was unable to resist the lug of the current and went under. The girl graduated from the Sapulpa high school In May.
