YOUNGER, Emil Dale

Emil Dale Younger, 84, Sapulpa, died Monday, July 31, 1995 at Four Seasons Nursing Home, Tulsa. 

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Robin Haley officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Gibson National Military Cemetery, Fort Gibson, directed by Smith Funeral Home. 

He was born Dec. 26, 1910 in Fort Gibson. He lived in Sapulpa for 33 years. He worked at a meat packing company. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ and American Legion Post 36. 

Survivors include his wife, Anna, of the home; a son, Emil D. Younger, Jr. Meeker; a brother, Dee Younger, Chelsa; a sister, Mada Sloan, Sand Springs; and three grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter Betty.

Services for Emil Dale Younger, Sr., were held today in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Robin Haley officiating. Burial was in Fort Gibson National Military Cemetery in Fort Gibson. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
