YOUNG, Adris Sr.

Adris Young, Sr., 81, Sapulpa died Sunday, May 14, 1995 at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center. 

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home. 

He was born Oct. 16, 1913 in Coffeyville, Kans. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He served in World War II and retired as First Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and National Rifle Association. 

Survivors include a son, Adris Young, Jr., Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Irving Young, Sacramento, Calif., and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel in December, 1994.

YOUNG, Adris Sr.

Services for Adris Young were scheduled for 2 p.m. today in the Smith Funeral Home with Chaplain Bryan Simoneaux officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home. An honor guard from Fort Sill accorded full military rites.
