SAND SPRINGS - Elmer Lee Wood, 76, of Sand Springs, died today at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Services are scheduled for 4 pm Friday in the Smith Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wood was born April 6, 1915, in Hugo and had lived in Sand Springs for the past 20 years, moving there from California.

He had been a maintenance worker at the Hissom Memorial Center and was a member of the Sand Springs Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include wife Lucy Jean; five sons; five daughters; one sister; four brothers; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
