SONNY WILSON, 47, DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Paul G. (Sonny) Wilson, co-owner of Creek Hills Buffeteria in Sapulpa, died Monday in a Tulsa hospital. 

Wilson, 47, of Sand Springs, suffered a severe heart attack in October. He was born in Sapulpa July 19, 1931, and went to the Sand Springs home when he was 18 months. He was a lifelong Sand Springs resident and for many years operated Sonny's Cafeteria there. He was a member of the Sand Springs First United Methodist church, Rotary Club, and the Oklahoma Restaurant Association. He attended Northeastern Oklahoma State University, Tahlequah, and was a Korean War Veteran. 

Survivors are his wife Ruby of the home, 1215 Forest Drive, Sand Springs; two daughters, Terri Lynn, a student at East Central Oklahoma University, Ada, and Rebecca Kae of the home; a son, Charles Robert (Robbie) Wilson of Tulsa; three brothers, Lawrence and Charles Wilson, both of Sapulpa, and Earl Wilson of San Jose, Calif.; and four sisters, Mae Rush and Violet Fosburgh, both of Sapulpa, and Agnes Self and Pauline Wilson, both of Selma, Calif. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sand Springs First United Methodist church with Dr. Robert W. VanHouse officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Sand Springs, under direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.

RESTAURATEUR DIES; SERVICES SET WEDNESDAY - (world's own service)

Sapulpa - Paul G. "Sonny" Wilson, longtime restaurateur, died Monday. Wilson, 47, had been ill with a heart condition. 

Wilson was born in Sapulpa and lived in Sand Springs 46 years. He owned Sonny's Cafeteria in Sand Springs. He recently moved to Sapulpa, where he was co-owner of Creek Hills Buffeteria. Wilson was a member of the Sand Springs First United Methodist Church, the Sand Springs Rotary Club and the Oklahoma Restaurant Association. 

He is survived by his wife Ruby of the home; two daughters, Terri Lynn and Rebecca Kae, both of the home; a son, Charles R. "Robbie" Wilson, of Tulsa; three brothers, Lawrence Wilson and Charles Wilson, both of Sapulpa; and Earl Wilson, of San Jose, Calif.; four sisters, Mae Rush and Violet Fosburgh, both of Sapulpa; Agnes Self and Pauline Wilson, both of Selma, Calif. 

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sand Springs First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Mobley-Dodson Lakeside. 

Friends are being asked to contribute to the Sand Springs First United Methodist Church organ fund.
