LeRoy Wilson Dies Thursday

LeRoy J. Wilson, 55, 202 1/2 E Lee died Thursday at Bartlett Memorial Hospital after an illness of several days.

He was born in Sapulpa, Jan 8, 1919.

He formerly lived in Bristow and was a veteran of World War 2. He became disabled from injuries during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Survivors are one son, Ronnie Lee Wilson, Sapulpa; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Corman and Mrs. Bobby Sue Ellis, both of Sapulpa; three brothers, Joe Wilson, Depew, Billy Clay Wilson, Maryland, and Jesse Herbert Wilson, Tulsa; five sisters, Mrs. Fern Friend and Mrs. Dora Stuart, both of Sapulpa, Mrs. Ruth Morton and Mrs. Opal Little, both of Bristow and Mrs. Katie Miller, Tulsa; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm Thursday at Kellyville's Free Pentecostal church. Officiating will be Rev. Glen Z. Perry, Bristow, assisted by the Rev. J.V. Edwards, Kellyville.
