Gene Wilson, 62, 1411 E. McLeod, died Saturday, May 6, 1995 at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Paige Cole officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, directed by Smith Funeral Home. 

He was born Feb. 1, 1933 in Holdenville. He married Peggy Williams on April 2, 1954 in Sapulpa. He lived in Sapulpa since 1950. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a 32nd degree Mason and Tulsa Consistery. He was a supervisor with Sun Oil and retired in 1988 after 32 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. 

Survivors include his wife, Peggy, of the home; a daughter, Pam Haught, Broken Arrow; two sisters, Rachel Watkins, Sapulpa, and Norma Triplett, Jones; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Wilson, and a granddaughter. 

Casket bearers will be Jim Haught, Dave Haught, Doug Haught, Ernie Haught, Ken Stanley, and Don Clements.
