William Robert Williams, 62, Sapulpa, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1995 at Muskogee Veterans Hospital.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson with a military chaplain from Muskogee officiating.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born April 19, 1933 in Hiticha.

He married Linda J. McCombs.

He worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone. He lived in Sapulpa for the past seven years. He was a Baptist. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; two sons, Faran Williams, Tulsa; five daughters, January Williams, Hiticha, Rhonda Brazeal, Oklahoma, Diane Baxley, Sapulpa, J. B. Arnold and Dubby Arnold, both of Choteau; a brother, Paul Williams, Henryetta; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Doug.

Graveside services for William "Bill" R. Williams were held today in Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, with a military chaplain officiating. Burial was in Fort Gibson National Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
