WILMER, TX - Clifton Howard Wheeler, 79, of Wilmer, died Friday at Midway Park Hospital in Lancaster, TX.

Graveside services were held Tuesday at Trinity Cemetery in Wilmer with the Rev. Joel Harris officiating.

Burial followed under the direction of Green Funeral Home of Ferris, TX.

Mr. Wheeler was born Nov.18, 1920, in Sapulpa. He was a retired foreman for Products, Inc. in Tecumseh, MI. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Wheeler was a member of American Legion Post No. 345 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8913 of Lancaster. He was a Methodist.

Survivors include sister Bonnie J. Ernest of Hutchins, TX, Gladys Martin of Buena Park, CA; brothers Nathan Wheeler of Sapulpa, Stanley Wheeler of Kellyville and Charles Oran Wheeler of Tavares, FL.
