CUSHING - Viva West, 93, of Cushing, died today in Cushing.

Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

She was born March 29, 1898, in South Dakota, and lived in the Wellston-Chandler area most of her life. She moved to Cushing several years ago. Mrs. Hill (sic) was a retired chief agent for Southwestern Bell and a member of First Baptist Church, Cushing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Linza Ellis West, in 1960.

Survivors include son E. Dean West of Sapulpa; daughter Mrs. Alton Green of Dallas, TX; sister Bessie Chapman of Davenport; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
