Joseph Paul Weidner, 64, Sapulpa, died Monday at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday, at the Blue Bell Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Glen Hood officiating.

Burial will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow under the direction of Mowery Funeral Services of Owasso.

He was born Nov 21, 1927, in Hartford, Conn. After retiring from General Motors Corporation in 1987, he moved to Sapulpa in 1988.

A son, Lawrence, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Alene; sons, Joseph P. III of Bureau, Ill., Daniel of Aurora, Colo., James C. of Oglesby, Ill., daughters, Virginia Marchetti of Winsted, Conn., Evelyn Riley of Holmes Beach, Fla.,; sisters, Lily, Velma, Ellenor and Eva; step-daughters, Diane Pope of Inola, Rhonda Sanders of Owasso; step-son, Raymond Wolfe of Tulsa; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
