Mrs. Walls Dies at Ponca City

Funeral Services were held Thursday at Oilton for Mrs. Rosa E. Walls, aged 40 of the Little Chief District. Mrs. Walls died Tuesday afternoon at the Walls home after an illness of several months. The cause of her death was given as pulmonary embolism.

She is survived by her husband, John Walls, daughters, Gladys, Myrtle, Margaret, Betty Irene, and Mrs. C. C. Casey and sons, John R., Robert, Oliver, and Willis, a sister Mrs. Jake (J.R.) Whitchurch (maiden name thought to be Maye Bennett) and a brother W. T. Holman (referred to as Thomas though his name is William Thomas Holman).

Rosa Ethel Walls was born March 11, 1892 at Olive, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Kiefer Walls in June 1907. The Walls have lived in the Little Chief oil fields for the past several years. Rosa died on May 3, 1932.
