Mary Elizabeth Wallin was born May 3, 1921 to Gertrude Estelle Miller and Carson Cody Beck in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed from this life Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at her Bristow home at the age of 87.

Mary attended Bristow Public Schools. On May 19, 1958, she married Charles Wallin. Working in the communications industry for 30 years, Mary retired in 19/6 (sic) as a manager of Pacific Telephone and Telegraph. Mary like to play bingo and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Mary Smith, of Bristow, five grandchildren, LeRoy Brooks, William Brooks, Fred Burke, Renee Collins, and Holly McSperitt, nine great-grandchildren, Judson Smith, Buddy Joe Smith, Desiree Brooks, Cheyenna Brooks, Ricky Dipley, Shane Burke, Caitlin Burke, Nicole Burke, and Amanda Books, and two great-great-grandchildren, Angel and Isabella Smith. She is preceded in Death by her husband, parents and one brother, Francis Beck.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, December 19, 2008 at Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Manuel Rivas officiating.

Services are under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home, Bristow, Oklahoma.
