Robert E. (Bob) VanLandingham, 70, 1023 E. Lincoln, died Wednesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday at South Heights Cemetery with the Rev. C. DeWitt Boyce officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. VanLandingham was born July 18, 1921, in Sapulpa, and was a lifelong Sapulpa resident. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, serving in Guam and Iwo Jima. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. He was a retired builder.

Survivors include son Kayle VanLandingham of Tulsa; daughters Diana VanLandingham of Tulsa and Vickie Purdy of Virginia Beach, Va.; brothers Joe VanLandingham of Sapulpa and John VanLandingham of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
